Large Mystical Collider
HOW TO PLAY:
![]() | Large Mystical Collider - Made for GMTK Game JAm 2025 Place particles in the collider and run the machine in different modes to get new and better particles. Look at the map to understand what particles will be created, based on the points of collision between the particle's vectors. |
All assets were made be me during the game jam, except for the font which was made by me for an earlier game jam.
Made in javascript with P5.js. Used vscode and also photoshop, sfxr, flstudio.
If you don't fully understand the game, here is a more detailed explanation:
Your objective is to find all particles.
You'll need to do 2 different things:
- Understand the particles you already discovered.
- Find new particles.
The particles appear on the particle map, but the ones you have not yet discovered appear as a [?].
To understand particles you just need to use them in the reactor in any mode. You'll slowly gain understanding and you can see your progress on the bottom left if you hover a particle.
To find new particles you'll need to place particles and run the collider in Collide mode. The particles you find depend on the vectors of the particles you place.
Here is an example: If you click Ignith and Borealon on the map, you can see that their vectors intersect over another particle. That means if you place Ignith and Borealon on the collider, you'll get that particle. Then, you'll need to use that particle to understand it.
